The Wesleyan Church is a Spirit-led, praying movement called to evangelize and make disciples of all people by equipping believers, developing leaders, multiplying churches, and transforming communities.

Here at Presque Isle Wesleyan Church, we invite you to follow Jesus, grow in Jesus, and serve Jesus in all of life.

Weekend Worship Services

When We Meet

Every Saturday night at 6PM & Sunday morning at 10AM

Where We Meet

We meet in our worship center at 387 Centerline Rd in Presque Isle, ME.

What To Expect

We are imperfect people, clinging to a perfect Savior, being perfected by the Spirit. All are welcome to join us! Our services usually lasts about 90 minutes. We have special kids programming for ages 6 months to grade 5. As for adults, casual attire, a cup of coffee and a open heart to what God has in store for you is all that you need!

Besides our weekend gathering, people meet during the week to grow and be transformed through deep relational connections formed at things like:

Small Groups

People meet in homes, restaurants, workplaces and the church to encourage one another and learn together.

Large Group Studies

Some studies are held in our large meeting rooms to allow for  focus on subjects that are pertinent to the church as a whole.

Prayer Meetings

Every Wednesday at 6PM, Saturday @ 5PM and Sunday @ 9AM we meet in our prayer room for concerted prayer. All are welcome to join!

Check out our ministries page for more ways to connect.

Serve in the church

It takes many hands to make all of our ministries happen every week. Nursery workers, ushers, small group leaders, singers, etc. all serve Jesus within the church.

Serve in the community

Many feed the hungry, help the burdened, and take care of the widow and the orphan. Join them by partnering with us in our work in Aroostook County.

Serve in the world

Help us transcend cultures and borders with the love of Christ in one of the several areas of the world we have connected with.

our staff

Each person on our staff contributes to the vision of PIWC in their own unique way, each overseeing a specific area of ministry but working together as a team to equip the saints for the work of the ministry.

Overview of our beliefs

Wesleyans believe in one God, who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Savior of all who put their faith in Him alone for eternal life. We believe that those who are made new in Christ are called to be holy in character and conduct, and can only live this way by being filled with the Lord's Spirit. We believe in the Bible and its sufficiency to establish our faith and conduct. We believe God wills for people everywhere to know Him and be made new in Christ. We believe that the purpose of the Church is to worship God in spirit and in truth, and to reach a lost and fallen world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through its worship, witness, and loving deeds.

Please CONSIDER OUR INVITATION TO mEMBERSHIP

Membership in The Wesleyan Church is based upon mutual accountability and ministry to the church, community, and the world. We are not a collection of independent people unrelated to each other, but rather we constitute a “family” of believers connected by our identity in Christ and our identity with one another. After attending this class we will offer you the opportunity to become a covenant member of this church, thus enabling you to be a vital part of the decision making process in the life of PIWC. During part one we will review our “Articles of Religion”. In part two we will discuss “Our Structure”. Then, in part three we will cover “Our Strategy”.
